Since we launched McFly Total Access in November 2020 we have had the best time getting you behind the scenes into the weird and slightly dysfunctional world of McFly. Whether it’s been seeing you at a Soundcheck Party on tour, seeing the memes you make of us cringing through Nowhere Left To Run, or taking Dragonball from a leaked demo all the way to The O2 Arena, it’s been an amazing experience getting to know the Galaxy Defenders just that little bit better.

MTA has been a brilliant way to be able to share music, gags and insights with you at a time when most of us were confined to their own 4 walls (global pandemic, anyone?) Thankfully the world is now a very different place and we’re in a position to get out and gig and see you in person, which is literally our favourite thing.

So, we’re ending MTA on 15th October 2022. We’ve put this page together to tell you everything you need to know.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MTA DOESN’T HAVE A FUNCTION TO AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL ITSELF. IN ORDER TO NOT BE CHARGED YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION YOURSELF. WE SUGGEST WATCHING THE FINAL LIVESTREAM AND THEN CANCELLING STRAIGHT AWAY.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW

To ensure you are not incorrectly charged for your MTA subscription, you need to cancel your account immediately.

The steps to cancel will depend on how you initially signed up. See the links below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is MTA closing?

MTA is closing on Saturday 15th October 2022. After this date, you will not be able to sign in to your account, watch any content, or use any functionality of MTA.


When will the final MTA content go live?

The final piece of MTA content will be a livestream on the 10th September. There will be no new content beyond this. You should cancel your subscription after watching this livestream, if you haven’t already. You will be able to enjoy all the existing content on MTA until the end of your subscription.


When will my subscription end?

Once you’ve cancelled your account, your subscription will end when your next billing date would have been. For example, if your monthly subscription renewed on the 20th August and you have cancelled your account, your subscription will end on the 20th September.


My subscription is already cancelled. Do I need to do anything?

No.


Why can’t you cancel my subscription automatically?

As payments are handled by a third-party service, we are unable to automatically cancel your subscription. This applies whether you signed up through the website or an app. You should use the instructions above to manually cancel your account. This ensures you will not be charged for a renewed subscription.


I’m a monthly subscriber. Will I get a refund?

You should cancel your monthly subscription to avoid paying for a subscription period beyond MTA’s closure.


I’m an annual subscriber. Will I get a refund?

If your subscription is due to expire after Saturday 15th October 2022, you will automatically receive a pro rata refund to your original payment method. If your subscription was gifted, the gift giver will receive the refund. You will receive your refund by 30th November 2022. Do not contact us to ask for your refund unless you haven’t received it by this date.


What will happen to the apps?

The apps (Android, iOS, Roku, Amazon) will soon no longer be available to download. If you have any of the apps installed, they will no longer function from Saturday 15th October 2022. You will need to manually uninstall the app from your devices.
